Welcome to Journey of the Heart, a blog containing my stories and reflections on the heart. Romance, betrayal, suspense and intriguing plots provide the makings of a good story and the stories of our hearts have them all. They are non-fiction… written by you and me whether we know it or not; written in and by our hearts. Not the sentimental heart of greeting cards. Not the heart of pop culture, “trust your heart… follow your heart.” It is the heart revealed in Scripture; the obscure center of each person and the source of all our beliefs, words, and actions. The heart corrupted by sin and sought by our God. The broken heart that none can fix, yet, God has promised to replace with a new, living and responsive heart. The heart we ignore, but which cries to be redeemed. For all the heart’s brokenness, I am optimistic that God knowing its condition is committed to heal and transform our hearts into the likeness of His. This blog explores the real life of the heart.
